The Mitsubishi i, the new Mitsubishi electric compact car, is coming to Anaheim Mitsubishi near Anaheim, California. Recently, the Wall Street Journal took a peak at the small Mitsubishi i, referring to it a great entry level EV.

The reviewers were quite impressed that the Japanese automaker is setting a new price with the i, also called as the i-MiEV, with a U.S.-based MSRP of $31,125.

Mitsubishi i EV is the Greenest Car of 2012

Mitsubishi is the greenest automaker, thanks to the Japanese automaker's all new  Mitsubishi i EV.

The "i", which is currently available at Anaheim Mitsubishi in Anaheim, California is powered by a 49-kW motor and 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. Mitsubishi i reaches 112 combined MPGe and hits a top speed of 81 mph. Regenerative braking recharges the battery, allowing Mitsubishi's electric engine to hold a range of 62 miles per battery charge.
