New Mitsubishi Model Will Mark New Generation of Mitsubishi Products

How is it possible that a small picture can tell us so much? Mitsubishi's latest teaser image reveals a Mitsubishi model that will mark the start of an entirely new generation of Mitsubishi products worldwide. You may think that it is a bit much to say one model denotes something so big, especially when the model has yet to be named. However, Anaheim Mitsubishi is confident in the brand...and that Mitsubishi enthusiasts need to wait just a little longer to find out why.

This March, Mitsubishi plans to debut a new model embodying Mitsubishi's rejuvenated design language.  Until then, we have been granted a sneak peek to hold us over until the March unveiling.  Shaded mostly in black, the Geneva model teaser picture reveals only the front of the model. We know that the small glimpse of the picture is not too much to go on, but it was definitely plenty to get fanatics like Anaheim Mitsubishi energized.

By analyzing the first few feet of the model, we believe that the upcoming Mitsubishi will be a truck or crossover.  Regardless, its hood demonstrates heavy contour and shows a hint of the brand's emerging "engineer-driven" design. A recent Mitsubishi press release notes, "This re-focused design language, while still being formulated, is envisaged as an open design concept, meant to be flexible enough to suit specific vehicle requirements whilst staging Mitsubishi's famous Three Diamond logo accordingly."1

As of now, the strategic automaker is keeping their lips sealed until the model's March debut. Anaheim Mitsubishi is already filled with anticipation, but we don't blame Mitsubishi for making us wait. After all, the automaker has supplied us with a plethora of other modern new Mitsubishi models to hold us over. If you want to take a new Mitsubishi or used car for a test drive, stop by.
